515 words: I'm gonna start this off by saying that this must have been a pretty big moment in my life, because I remember it vividly, which is interesting because I think a lot of people would have a tough time remembering the first time they got in trouble. I'm sure most people probably got into trouble in school for the first time later than me, as I was only in kindergarten when it happened. I don't know if young Jimmy was just a violent kid, or something happened to him, but I'll show you something he wrote when he was around kindergarten age, and you be the judge.

So, now that you can see where his mind was at the time, we can get back to the first time he got in trouble in school. It was a warmer winter day, and the residual snow from that week was starting to melt. The pavement was still somewhat slick, and the air was crisp. The melting of this snow was enough for us to finally have some outside recess, and as you can imagine, young Jimmy is hype. He has not been outside all winter, and he can feel the excitement coursing through his body. But, just as his excitement started to peak, the teachers announced that we would be walking the perimeter of the school. His heart sank instantly. It was well known that the walk around the perimeter is the most boring thing that could be done for recess, and young Jimmy was not happy.

As he started walking outside, he decided that although this was a bad situation, he was going to make the best out of it. Jimmy and his friends decided to play a game. Jimmy would run ahead and all of a sudden turn around and stop his friends with an outstretched hand(its amazing what kids think is entertaining). Well on one of the turns Jimmy stopped a little too quickly, and his friend Danny ran into Jimmy's outstretched hand, slipped on the ice, and fell, splitting his head open. Jimmy was shocked as Danny began to bleed and cry. A feeling of panic started to set in as he saw his friend laying on the ground. The teachers rushed over and assisted Danny, while one of the teachers started scolding Jimmy and proceeded to take him to the principal's office. Jimmy was in a ton of trouble, and he knew it.
He had to sit out many future recess' and his parents were called in. They were not happy, and Jimmy was grounded for a while until Danny came back to school after 10 stitches, and received a sincere apology. It took time for Danny to actually forgive him, but eventually he accepted Jimmy's apology. Jimmy definitely felt awful even though it was a accident, however this was definitely not the last time he got in trouble in school. Oh no, it was just the beginning. It was, however the only time he gave someone stitches at school.
