DO NOT CLICK ON THIS

Wow, I told you not to click on this.  Now you're going to have to sit here and listen to me ramble on about my life story, so buckle up I guess.
Seeing as I have never really done anything like this before, I don't really know where to start, so I guess I'll start with the basics.  My name is James Alexander Cabo, but if you called me that I would probably be little scared considering that the only person who calls me that is my mother when she is mad at me, so Jimmy works fine.  I've lived my whole life in a very small town in the middle of nowhere called Woodstown, NJ with my mom Colleen, my dad James, and my two sisters Allison and Leah.

My two sisters and my cousins on Christmas
My mom was a software engineer at Boeing and my dad was a project manager at AstraZeneca up until about 3 years ago.  They are hardworking people, and always put others before themselves, which I admire a lot.
Alright, now back to me.  Growing up in a small town is an interesting experience.  I knew everyone in my class by their first name, and could probably tell you something about them.  I grew up playing sports like football, baseball, and basketball because that was really the only thing to do.  To put how in the middle of nowhere my town actually is let me just say that the nearest chipotle was 30 minutes away, and the nearest Chick-fil-A is about 40 minutes away.  Sports were and still are a big part of my life, and you know I'll be rooting for the Eagles in the Super Bowl.
However, that's not all I'm into.  Here are some things that I really love.
1. My dog Budha
This is a pretty weird name for a dog right?  That's at least what I thought when we first got him, but the name stuck.  Oh, and don't ask what breed he is because I really don't know.  Just know that my mom sends me a picture of him almost every day.

My mom captioned this Canis lupus familiaris, she figured it would help with Bio somehow.
2. Rap music
My favorite artist is J.Cole, but I also love artists like Drake, The Notorious B.I.G., and many others. I tend to like lyrical artists, but I still love a good party song.  I find that whenever I'm feeling down, I can put in some of my favorite music and I'll feel a little better.
My favorite album ever. Hit me at a very influential time in my life.
3. A good movie
I would be more specific but there are so many so ill name a few: Good Will Hunting, The Dark Knight, The Godfather(Part I and II, not III), and The Big Short.

This is me(for now) and I hope I did an okay job of showing you all.

  1. Jimmy, I like how you put the photos and gifs throughout your blog, it felt like I was going on a little journey with you kind of! Your dog is adorable and I also love J. Cole. And I can totally relate to the small-town-but-also-in-the-middle-of-nowhere situation. Everything is at least a half hour away from me too ): Oh and you look a lot like your dad in that picture!
